Probably, this question is one of the easiest. If you feel that you will desperately miss your friends and family, the best choice for you will be to study quite close from home. Yet, if you are a person who wants to become independent, to change your life in a radical way, then studying far away is what you need.
Choose a comfortable setting for you.
For your personal comfort, you need to think of a setting, where you future college is situated. If you are an introvert and have no desire to live in a big city – urban places are not for you. If you are an extrovert, and you always want to be in the center of attention, then quiet setting isn’t what you need. You also may want something in the middle – a quiet place near the big city, so it is also possible.
The one thing you should remember, when choosing a college is that this is very important part of your life, moreover it will influence all your future. That is why, it is vital if this choice makes you happy. It is you who should be happy and satisfied with this decision, not your parents, friends or teaches, because nobody is able to live your life for you.
